Receiving Home program

The Receiving Home Program aims to raise and care for abandoned, neglected, surrendered, and orphaned children in a loving Christian and Filipino Culture-based environment. Here, every child is loved and valued as a child of God regardless of the religion they were born with to help them adjust when they are transferred to their forever loving family. The Receiving Home program utilizes a holistic approach through its different services.

Home Life & Group Living Services

A home-like and child-friendly temporary shelter is provided for children, where their basic needs such as nutritious food, appropriate clothing, and round-the-clock care are met. The program also includes structured daily activities and values formation to support their overall well-being and development in a nurturing environment.

Health and Nutrition Services

Children under the care of CCS are given the opportunity to grow and thrive by ensuring their health is well-maintained and access to healthcare is readily available. Services include regular medical check-ups, developmental assessments, necessary therapies and treatments, immunizations, and the provision of nutritious, well-balanced meals.

Recreational Services

CCS believes that play is an essential part of every child’s development and a powerful medium for learning and expression. Children are given regular opportunities for supervised indoor and outdoor play, socialization, outings, and educational trips that help enhance their creativity, confidence, and social skills.

Social Services

Children referred and admitted to CCS often face various social challenges. CCS advocates on their behalf, providing casework services, counseling, and referrals—always with the child’s best interest at heart.

Pre-Adoption Service

To ensure that every child under its care finds a permanent and loving family, CCS facilitates the legal adoption process both locally and internationally. This is carried out in close coordination with the National Authority for Child Care (NACC), in accordance with established child welfare policies and guidelines.

Spiritual Activities

True to its Christian roots, CCS considers spiritual growth an essential part of every child's development. The children are given opportunities to participate in spiritual activities such as baptism, Bible sharing, and regular church attendance to help nurture their faith and values.

At Concordia Children’s Services, we uphold the highest standards of transparency, integrity, and stewardship in all that we do.
